Unable to find SANNAV callhomes by serial number

  • Brocade X6-4, X6-8, X7-4, X7-8
  • SANnav 2.3.0 and below

Issue

  • Customer has sent a callhome for a named switch, TSE is unable to find the callhome by searching by the entitled Brocade serial number.
  • SANNAV and BNA callhomes do not include Chassis Serial Number for some Brocade models.  It is identified as "Chassis Factory Serial Number" in chassisshow output)
  • NetApp Installed Based records for Brocade switches are based on Chassis Factory Serial Number
