E-Series replacement controller boots into OE LU state when expansion enclosure contain IOM12B modules

Issue

  • After performing a controller replacement, the replacement goes into lock down state with the display code being OE LU.
  • The controller console output or (excLogShow command) indicate the following assertion is hit by the controller:
ASSERT: Assertion failed: slotNum < numSlots, file ionLogicalUnit.cc, line 5240
