StorageGRID Appliance Cisco switch ports suspended by VPC on reboot/maintenance mode

Applies to

  • StorageGRID Appliance is rebooted or placed into the maintenance mode
  • Cisco LACP/VPC Port bonding

Issue

  • Alert Services appliance link down on network port X is reported against the StorageGRID Appliance port connected to the Cisco switch
  • Status of the port is DOWN
  • Switch port connected to StorageGRID Appliance gets disabled with message "Suspended by VPC"
