Event Summary

StorageGRID reports LowRootDiskCapacity indicating the space available for root filesystem data is low.

Validate

  1. Login to the StorageGRID node with the reported low root disk capacity alert in Grid Manager using SSH.
  2. Run df -h
  3. Verify the usage under the / filesystem

Resolution

  1. Monitor this alert to see if the issue resolves on its own and the disk space becomes available again.
  2. Contact contact NetApp Technical Support if the available space continues to decrease or the alert does not clear
