Issue

  • When you try to discover devices for your array pair, you see the error below:

A general system error occurred: N2Dr3Xml20XmlValidateExceptionE empty content is not valid for content model '(TargetDevice+)'

  • In the SRM log bundle, the vmware-dr-###.log output includes an empty <TargetDevices> tag.

Example:

-->             <TargetGroups>
-->                  <TargetGroup key="//<your_SVM>/<your_volume>">
-->                     <TargetDevices></TargetDevices>
-->                  </TargetGroup>

  • The device with the empty <TargetDevices> tag has a qtree.
