Description

It is important to keep an offline backup copy of your switch configuration. This configuration can then be restored if mistakes are introduce in your configuration or in case of full switch failure. This procedure describes the steps taken to backup configuration for Mellanox Onyx-based switches. It is also best practice to save active switch configuration to memory before any switch maintenance activity.
