What command can be used to monitor the storage efficiency progress on a FlexGroup volume?

Answer

Storage Efficiency job takes a long time to compete on large FlexGroup volumes, in order to have a granular way to check on the Storage Efficiency progress:
  • Check SIS-STATUS-L.XML in ASUP.
  • volume efficiency show -instance can only display the Storage Efficiency progress for the entire FlexGroup, it can't display the progress for the member volumes. There is a diag level command that could be used to display the progress on each individual volume.
