What configuration is required for MCC switchover with Windows servers
Applies to
- NetApp MetroCluster
- FCP
Answer
- Most high availability (HA) environments default to 60 seconds for timeout but for MetroCluster disaster recovery (DR) SAN hosts please consider 120 seconds is the recovery time objective of the MetroCluster
- MetroCluster provides a recovery time objective (RTO) of 120 seconds or less for planned switchover and switchback. The RTO is the maximum acceptable time that is required to make storage and associated data available in the correct operational state after a switchover to the other data centre.
