Issue

  • When connecting Qlogic adapters to a Nexus FEX, the storage node panics

  • After the storage node boots from panic, the CNA ports are stuck in initalizing firmware state

  • The connection from switch shows it  flapping, not connected, or possible normal.
  • This can be triggered when the Cisco switch is upgraded to version 9.3(8)
