Description

Check Active IQ if this impacts your systems

Multiple disks show as prefail in the output of sysconfig -r. The sysconfig -r output may resemble something like this on multiple disks:

data         2a.18        2a 1 2 FC:A - FCAL 10000 136000/278528000 137104/280790184 (prefail)

The system continues to serve data on these prefailed disks, but are copied to spare disks as spares become available. When the number of prefailed disks exceeds the number of available spares, the spare disk pool will be depleted and the system will begin logging Spares low warnings.
