SVM is not accepting API calls over HTTPS

Issue

  • External application fails to authorize against ONTAP with request to check  the credentials and TLS certificate 
  • The following error message is being returned in the APACHE logs: 

[Sun Jan 23 02:14:43.336051 2022 +0000] [ssl:warn] [pid 1234:tid 12345678901] [client 10.10.10.100:12345] [vserver 4] SSL is not configured for this vserver

  • But SSL is correctly configured:

::> security ssl show -vserver Vserver1

Vserver: Vserver1
Server certicificate Issuing CA: Vserver1
Server Certificate Issuing CA: 123A456B7CDEF8GH
Server Certificate Common Name: Vserver1
SSL Server Authentification Enabled: true
SSL Client Authentification Enabled: false
Online certificate Status Protocol Validation Enabled: false
