Error "bsdsocket.queueLimit.reached" reported on the system

Issue

  • From the events logs, we see that the below errors are being reported:

Mon Nov 21 00:10:11 -0800 [pdxcbk10n01a: kernel: bsdsocket.queueLimit.reached:error]: Number of connection requests for the socket bound to port 954 having the IP address * has reached the limit of 1536 connections. The socket uses TCP protocol. This event has occurred 484 times since the last warning.
Mon Nov 21 00:15:12 -0800 [pdxcbk10n01a: kernel: bsdsocket.queueLimit.reached:error]: Number of connection requests for the socket bound to port 954 having the IP address * has reached the limit of 1536 connections. The socket uses TCP protocol. This event has occurred 452 times since the last warning.
Mon Nov 21 00:20:18 -0800 [pdxcbk10n01a: kernel: bsdsocket.queueLimit.reached:error]: Number of connection requests for the socket bound to port 954 having the IP address * has reached the limit of 1536 connections. The socket uses TCP protocol. This event has occurred 571 times since the last warning.
