Incorrect line voltage from PDU is causing amber light on system power supply
- Last Updated:
- With some systems and the larger 60 disk shelf enclosures, it is required to provide a 220V/240V power source as these larger devices require more power. 110V/120V power sources are not compatible with these devices.
- These devices plugged into a 110V/120V power delivery unit (PDU) will show only an amber light on the back on the PSU, indicating that power is being received, but is not compatible with the power supply.
- No lights on the system are turning on, just the amber lights on the power supplies.
