CHASSIS POWER SUPPLY DEGRADED ERROR event after PSU replacement in ONTAP 9

Issue

  • After a failed PSU is replaced, the autosupport  CHASSIS POWER SUPPLY DEGRADED ERROR is still generated
  • Platform sensors report the PSU is bad
PSU2 State    discrete    fault            normal    BAD
  • The errors on the new PSU are different from the first PSU
