SMcli internal error code 12 after 1-2 weeks

Issue

  • Storage Manager command line interface (SMcli) is called every few minutes in a script to check status of multiple arrays
  • After sometime the application will not work and will not start again until complete cleanup of SMcli files and re-install
Example:

Every few minutes running this script against say 45 arrays on the same SMcli application instance.

SMcli -n E2624-AMS -c "show storageArray healthstatus;"
