What is the MAX IOPS of SolidFire Nodes can handle?
Applies to
NetApp SolidFire nodes.
Answer
The maximum IOPS capacity of each node is shown below:
| SolidFire node model: | Maximum IOPS with a 4KB IO size: |
| SF2405 | 50000 |
| SF4805 | 50000 |
| SF3010 | 50000 |
| SF9605 | 50000 |
| SF6010 | 50000 |
| SF9010 | 75000 |
| SF9608 | 75000 |
| SF19210 | 100000 |
| SF38410 | 100000 |
| H610S-1/2/4 | 100000 |
Additional Information
-
While it is possible to configure a single volume with a max IOPS of 100000, it may not be optimal for resiliency.A single volume consuming the full IOPS of a node can lead to resource contention, and in the event of a node failure, failover to other nodes may result in increased latency due to existing QoS reservations from other volumes.
