This article describes how to safely remove node(s) triggering the unbalancedMixedNodes alert
 
  • Error code in NetApp SolidFire ActiveIQ:
    • unbalancedMixedNodes
  • Details:
    • A single node accounts for more than one-third of the storage cluster's capacity. Contact NetApp Support for assistance.
    • The mix of node capacities in the cluster is unbalanced because node ID <#>, "<NAME>" is greater than 33.3333% of the cluster's capacity.
