Issue

  • Amber LEDs are blinking on the drives without any drive errors in NetApp SolidFire Active IQ
  • Cluster events:
    • platformHardwareEvent - Ipmi SEL Event - Drive Slot / Bay HDD<X>, Rebuild In Progress
    • platformHardwareEvent - Ipmi SEL Event - Drive Slot / Bay HDD<X>, Drive Fault
    • platformHardwareEvent - Ipmi SEL Event - Drive Slot / Bay HDD<X>, Hot Spare
  • IPMI logs are showing:
    • Drive Slot / Bay #0xb7 | Drive Fault | Asserted
    • Drive Slot / Bay #0xb7 | Drive Fault | Deasserted
    • OEM record c3 | 000000 | 06980a640800
