After applying SFB to node, the next process takes 2h to proceed due to drive failure

Applies to

  • NetApp Hybrid Cloud Control (HCC)
  • NetApp Element software 12.2 or later
  • Applying Storage Firmware Bundle (SFB)

Issue

  • When applying SFB, after Storage node upgrade: Completed firmware update of upgradeEvent occurs, it takes 2 hours for Storage node upgrade: Complete of upgradeEvent to occur
  • If pressing Pause button in HCC, it takes 2 hours to change from PAUSING to PAUSED.
  • There is a drive that remains stuck in Failed state even though the state of the other drives has recovered from Failed.
