Answer

  • There is no impact of importing capacity tier licenses as long as the cluster has already been promoted from an evaluation license to a production license.
  • However, if the first time to import capacity tier licenses, it requires to convert an evaluation license to a production license after that.
  • Performing a modification of the cluster license for a single-node cluster is disruptive but this is not the case with a multi-node cluster because the conversion process reboots each node one at a time to apply the license.
