Applies to

  • ONTAP Select (OTS) 9.7
  • Upgrade to ONTAP 9.9.1 and higher
  • Intel "Sandy Bridge" CPU Architecture (ESXi)
  • VMware EVC Mode

Issue

When upgrading OTS from 9.7  to 9.9.1 or higher, the following error can be seen during boot:
