Description

  • An ONTAP Select (OTS) node/VM unexpectedly restarted and automatically returned online.
  • After reviewing the NetApp AutoSupport (ASUP) event logs, multiple disks went missing, the node failed, and the PLEX went offline.
  • Logs may show:
  • dmgr_thread: raid.disk.missing:info]: Disk 0x.x S/N [..] UID [..] is missing from the system
    config_thread: raid.config.filesystem.disk.missing:info: File system Disk /aggr0_/plex/rg0/0x.1x S/N [..] UID [..] is missing. 
    config_failed_disk: callhome.disks.missing:error]: Call home for MULTIPLE DISKS MISSING
    mlm.array.lun.removed: Array LUN '0x.x' is no longer being presented
    fmmb_disk_io_replyFailed: no valid path to disk 0x.x
