LUN missing from Data ONTAP after LUN goes offline due to space constraint

Issue

  • LUN /vol/<volume_name>/<LUN_name>
     goes offline because there was no free space on the parent volume
  • Afterwards the LUN disappears, and is no longer visible in Data ONTAP
