Issue

  • Affected FAS models: FAS50, FAS70, FAS90
  • Unable to create a storage pool using internal NVMe solid-state drives (SSD) or SSDs in an NVMe NS224 shelf
  • Attempting to create a storage pool with the "storage pool create" command results in the error:
    Error: command failed: Not enough matching spares available.
  • When specifying particular disks, the error shown is:
    Error: command failed: Disk "2.0.2" is not a SSD disk.
  • System inventory lists available SSD-NVM spares, but storage pool creation fails.
