Issue

  • ONTAP user space process cmd, responsible for performance data collection, periodically restarts and event log shows error similar to:
::*> event log show

  • After the cmd process restarts automatically, it can immediately hit another similar panic.
  • When the panic restarts of cmd trigger too often after each other, the process is not restarted and this event is logged:
