Issue

  • Snapshots getting deleted on volume due to Autodelete:

<Date> [<Node_Name>: snap_helper: wafl.volume.snap.autoDelete:info]: Deleting Snapshot copy '<Snapshot_Name>' in volume '<Volume_Name>' to recover storage

  • Volume Snapshot Autodelete configured as below:

::> volume snapshot autodelete show
state=on, commitment=try,
trigger=volume,
target_free_space=20%,
delete_order=oldest_first,
defer_delete=user_created,
prefix=(not specified),
destroy_list=none

  • Volume space Usage Breached the "Target free Space": 

    <Date> [<Node_Name>: wafl_spcd_main: monitor.volume.nearlyFull:error]: Volume <Volume_Name>@vserver:<vserver UUID> is nearly full (using or reserving X%% of space and y%% of inodes).
