Security login show account locked field showing as '-' in ONTAP

Issue

  • A new user is created with account locked status as a dash '-', instead of locked or unlocked.

  • When attempting to lock or unlock this user, the following error is generated:
cluster::*> security login lock -username example -vserver example
Error: command failed: Cannot lock user with non-password authentication method.
