Remote Device ID not showing

Issue

  • Remote device ID information not showing in network port show output although the ports are online.

  • OPTIONS log show CDP is enabled

cdpd.enable on

  • network device-discovery show output do not  report the issued port's remote device id

  • Packet Trace to issued port show that node is sending CDPv1 advertisement and CDP-compliant neighboring devices not sending CDPv1 advertisement back.
