Issue

  • Creating a volume from OCSM GUI fails with error:
    Performance information for aggregate "aggr_name" is currently not available. Wait a few minutes and try the command again.
  • Either above error shows in OCSM when attempting to create a volume WITHOUT selecting Manual placement with Custom under Performance Service Level.
  • Or above error shows when the volume is created with checking Enable SnapMirror (Local or Remote) under Protection (the peered cluster is affected).
  • event log show does periodically show mgmtgwd.jobmgr.private.jobcomplete.failure events:
[nodename: mgwd: mgmtgwd.jobmgr.private.jobcomplete.failure:info]: Private job "Balanced Placement Model Cache Update" [id 1558] (Balanced Placement model cache update for node nodename.) completed unsuccessfully: Provisioning model cache update failed. Reason: Available performance information for aggregate "aggr_name" is currently not available. Wait a few minutes and try the command again. (13001).
  • Creating the volume or Snapmirror protection relationship via CLI succeeds.
