  • ONTAP fails to send event notifications to the Syslog server
  • The test events generated are not triggered on the node as well:
::*> event generate -node ontap912-01 -message-name wafl.vol.offline -values test,test1,test2,test3,test4,test5
 
::*> event log show -message-name wafl.vol.offline
