Issue

There are no alerts generated in the event logs for the aggregate being nearly full or full event after crossing the  “Aggregate Nearly Full Threshold Percent” and “Aggregate Full Threshold Percent”

Example:

  • Aggregate – aggr2 is 87% utilized:

Cluster::> storage aggregate show

Aggregate     Size Available Used% State   #Vols  Nodes            RAID Status
--------- -------- --------- ----- ------- ------ ---------------- ------------
aggr2      286.6GB   37.40GB   87% online       1 Node-1a            raid4,
                                                                    normal

  • The aggregate nearly full threshold percent is set to 80% and the aggregate full threshold percent is set to 85%:

Cluster::> storage aggregate show aggr2 -fields space-nearly-full-threshold-percent,space-full-threshold-percent
aggregate space-nearly-full-threshold-percent space-full-threshold-percent
--------- ----------------------------------- ----------------------------
aggr2     80%                                 85%

  • However, there are no alerts triggered at this stage, as the aggregate has already crossed the aggregate full threshold.
