New node joining cluster fails due to subsystems attempting to restart

Issue

Add nodes to the cluster fails as below.

Welcome to the cluster setup wizard.

Joining cluster at address 169.xx.xx.222

Joining cluster .
[node3:spm.vldb.process.exit:EMERGENCY]: Volume Location Database(VLDB) subsystem with ID 6523 exited as a result of signal signal 6. The subsystem will attempt to restart.
 
Joining cluster ...
[node3:spm.vifmgr.process.exit:EMERGENCY]: Logical Interface Manager(VifMgr) with ID 17298 aborted as a result of signal signal 6. The subsystem will attempt to restart.
 
The management gateway server restarted. Waiting to see if the connection can be reestablished
[node3:spm.mgwd.process.exit:EMERGENCY]: Management Gateway (mgwd) subsystem with ID 2340 exited as a result of signal normal exit (0). The subsystem will attempt to restart.
[node3:spm.secd.process.exit:EMERGENCY]: Security daemon with ID 17463 exited as a result of signal signal 6. The service will attempt to restart.
 
The management gateway server restarted. Waiting to see if the connection can be reestablished...
 
The connection with the management gateway server could not be reestablished.
