Answer

  • Since ONTAP 8.3.1 onward, It is not possible to change permanently setting linked to the aggregate snapshot.
  • By design, on each node reboot those will return to the default value
  • Example: percent-snapshot-space, nosnap

Additional Information

Since the ONTAP version 8.3.2, the aggregate snapshot copies are deprecated and so the setting linked too. We didn’t recommend using them except in case of SyncMirror and MetroCluster.
