Description

ONTAP 9 introduced a new 'migrate-root' command which automatically migrates node root aggregates onto new disks with limited user input. This article details an equivalent manual process for ONTAP 9 and earlier.

Perform the steps in this article to create the new root aggregate and volume manually.
