Description

  • ONTAP uses the cluster image command set for ANDU ONTAP upgrades
  • Previous ONTAP upgrades used the system node image command set
  • There are some use cases in which the ONTAP package might be best retrieved using the system node image get command such as an external USB drive
  • This article provides details regarding copying an ONTAP image previously retrieved into the system node image repository into the cluster image repository
  • Use of a web server to download the image file to the 'system node image' repository is restricted or not feasible on the network due to security restrictions
