Issue

  • One of the FlexGroup volumes is full and the following events are reported  in the system:

[Node-01: wafl_exempt11: wafl.vol.fsp.full:error]: volume fg_oss_1700000006__0004@vserver:05dddf6d-e1ed-11e7-b3cc-00a098bdb358: insufficient space in FSP wafl_remote_reserve to satisfy a request of 1 holes and 0 overwrites.

[Node-01: wafl_exempt06: wafl.vol.full:alert]: Insufficient space on aggregate aggr1 to perform operation. 40.0KB was requested but only 1.00KB was available.

  • The aggregate hosting the FlexGroup volume has no space left to expand the volume size.
  • An attempt to perform a volume move operation fails with the below error:

[Node-01: mgwd: mgmt.vopl.move.cut.entryFail:error]: The volume move operation of volume 'fg_oss_1700000006__0004' in Vserver 'SVM1' to destination aggregate 'aggr2' did not enter the cutover phase. The system provided the additional explanation: 'Preparing source volume for cutover: Volume quiesce failed with not enough space to create snapshot (Can't create Snapshot for operation, insufficient space)'. After a short delay, the volume move operation will reattempt cutover entry. The job ID for the volume move job is '549575'.
