Cluster image validation is failing

Issue

The validation is failing with the error
 
::> cluster image validate -version 9.8P7
It can take several minutes to complete validation... Error: Unable to identify HA partner for Node . Ensure that the node is configured as HA and the partner node is online .
It can take several minutes to complete validation... Error: show failed: Some nodes specified for validation are missing HA partner.
 
Also cluster ring show or sp show  give different output from the master node and any other secondary node in the cluster.
