Cannot delete an aggregate that has volumes reason: Containing aggregate does not exist in the System

Issue

  • The offline aggregate cannot be deleted:

cluster01::> aggregate delete – aggregate aggr-1

Warning:Are you sure you want to destroy aggregate "aggr-1"? {y|n}: y

Error:command failed: Cannot delete an aggregate that has volumes. Delete or move the volumes and retry the command.

  • The offline volume cannot be deleted:

cluster01::*> vol delete -vserver svm1 -volume vol1 -foreground true -force true

[Job 39142]Job is queued: Delete vol1.

Error: command failed: [Job 39142] Job failed: Failed to delete volume "vol1" in vserver "svm1". Reason: Containing aggregate does not exist in the System
