Answer

  • MAV will not affect the Snapshot auto-deletion feature.
  • Auto snapshot deletion doesn't send requests via MAV, and upon reaching the retention period snapshots will be deleted without requesting approvals.

Additional Information

  • Manual snapshot deletion operation execution can be prevented using MAV.
  • If MAV is enabled with a snapshot deletion rule, then second-level authentication is required to successfully execute the command.
