  • Node reports PSU State: failed in health alerts:

    Node: ****
           Resource: Shelf UUID: ****
           Severity: Major
    Indication Time: ****
           Suppress: false
        Acknowledge: false
     Probable Cause: Power Supply Units (PSU) on Shelf 2.12 connected to controllers **** are not operational.
                     PSU ID: 2. PSU State: failed.
    Possible Effect: Some SAS or NVMe storage shelves might not be accessible.
 Corrective Actions: 1. Check the AC power distribution to the PSU and the PSU power switch.
                     2. Switch off the PSU (if equipped). Remove the PSU.
              Wait one minute. Insert the PSU. Switch on the PSU (if equipped).
Request Failure Analysis: No

  • Swap the PSU to another shelf, and the alert source will move along with the PSU.
