Why is "Cold reset reboot" logged when upgrading from BMC 13.7?

Answer

  • As expected, Cold reset reboot is not logged in BMC log when upgrading from BMC 13.6 and earlier releases.
  • Cold reset reboot SEL is only logged in BMC log when upgrading from BMC 13.7 or beyond. This is harmless.
