  • BatRelativeCharge(BMC node_name> system battery show):
    • Indicates the current charge level relative to the battery's full charge.
    • If RelativeCharge is low, it might indicate that the battery's current charge is insufficient.
  • BatPctCapacity(PLATFORM-SENSORS.XML in ASUP):
    • Represents the battery’s overall health/capacity compared to its original design.
    • If Bat Pct Capacity decreases, it suggests that the battery's capacity has degraded, meaning that preemptive replacement should be planned to ensure the system remains reliable for backup power needs.
