Answer

Homogeneous Shelf Module Type Within Stack

Configurations must conform to all of these rules:

1) Must not exceed the maximum drive count that the AFF, ASA or FAS controller supports
2) Must not exceed 240 drives for HDD  or HDD/SSD hybrid stack, 96 drives for a SSD stack
3) Must not exceed 10 shelves in a stack path (integrated storage counts as a shelf)
4) In a HDD / SSD hybrid stack, SSDs should be on the ends of the stack

Heterogenous Shelf Module Type Within Stack
