WAFL inconsistent user data block due to raid.cksum.bad.file.block error

Issue

  • Multiple disks and models reporting Medium errors. Example:

[node_name: disk_server_0: disk.ioMediumError:notice]: Medium error on disk 0a.01.1: op 0x2f:0cf77000:0400 sector 217542656 SCSI:medium error -  - If the disk is in a RAID group, the subsystem will attempt to reconstruct unreadable data...

  • Bad block checksum , raid_multierr_bad_block_1 or raid_tetris_media_err_1 messages reported. Example:

node_name ERROR raid.cksum.bad.file.block: Reading bad block on volume vol_name, Disk /aggr/plex0/rg0/0a.00.1 Shelf 0 Bay 1 (...) UID [...], disk block 24668672,...

  • WAFL inconsistency triggered as a consequence. Example:
