UNRECOVERABLE warning on Temperature sensor

Issue

  • Below errors can be seen from the EMS logs.
[NODE A: dsa_worker0: ses.status.temperatureError:error]: DS224-12 (S/N 123456708) shelf 0 on channel 0b temperature error for Temperature sensor 1: internal communication error. Current temperature: 20 C (68 F). This module is on the front of the shelf on the left, on the OPS panel.
[NODE A: statd: monitor.shelf.warning:error]: Fault reported on disk storage shelf attached to channel 0b. Check fans, power supplies, disks, and temperature sensors.
[NODE A: statd: callhome.shlf.fault:error]: Call home for SHELF_FAULT
Or it may automatically recover
[monitor: monitor.globalStatus.critical:EMERGENCY]: Disk shelf fault. 
[tatd: monitor.shelf.fault.ok:notice]: Fault previously reported on disk storage shelf attached to channel 0b has been corrected.
[monitor: monitor.globalStatus.ok:notice]: The system's global status is normal. 
  • The sensor status can be seen as UNRECOVERABLE in the Storage fault logs.
