Issue

  • Node unexpectedly down
  • SP HBT MISSED and SP HBT STOPPED messages reported. Example:

[node-name: spsm_listener: sp.heartbeat.stopped:error]: Have not received a IPMI heartbeat from the Service Processor (SP) in last 20 seconds.
[node-name: spsm_listener: callhome.sp.hbt.missed:notice]: Call home for SP HBT MISSED
[node-name: spsm_listener: callhome.sp.hbt.stopped:alert]: Call home for SP HBT STOPPED

  • BMC of node is not accessible via ssh or console
