Issue

Uploading a file through System Manager for an ONTAP upgrade fails with the errors:

Thu Jan 30 2020,18:39:51.84 Image upload from local failed and reason is :File not uploaded. This might be because file 
exceeds the maximum allowed size of 2048M or there is insufficient space

This could be due to:

  1. Insufficient space in the root volume for each node (rarely occurs if following the Min Root size per HWU)
  2. File being uploaded is larger than the limit
  3. Burt 1186703: Local image upload fails if cluster management LIF is not on home node
