SingleSwitchToShelf_Alert and MccIp_PortOfflineAlert after ONTAP upgrade

Issue

  • After ONTAP upgrade, Cluster 01 of Metrocluster configuration reports SingleSwitchToShelf_Alert and MccIp_PortOfflineAlert. Example:

[Cluster01-01: mgwd: callhome.hm.alert.major:alert]: Call home for Health Monitor process nchm: SingleSwitchToShelf_Alert[Cluster01-01].

[Cluster01-01: nchmd: hm.alert.cleared:notice]: Alert Id = MccIp_PortOfflineAlert , Alerting Resource = Cluster01-01_e3b_e3b-20 cleared by monitor node-connect
[Cluster01-01: nchmd: hm.alert.raised:alert]: Alert Id = MccIp_PortOfflineAlert , Alerting Resource = Cluster01-01_e3b_e3b-20 raised by monitor node-connect
  • One of the switch's management IP addresses is unreachable and also leading to intermittent SwitchInfoUpdateFailure_Alert and SwitchUnreachable_Alert.
