Issue

  • Receive the following Panic message and node performs takeover
 
PANIC: Received PANIC packet from partner, receiving message is (Coredump and takeover initiated because
Connectivity, Liveliness and Availability Monitor (CLAM) has determined this node is out of quorum.) in SK process gop_eq_thread on
release 9.5 (C) on Fri Jul 23 07:24:36 CEST 2021
 
  • Only occurs when a cluster LIF is hosted on either e0a / e0b cluster ports
  • No messages regarding ports e0a / e0b links going down or up
  • Configuring a 3rd cluster port (eg. e0f) and hosting a cluster LIF on this for redundancy does not prevent the panic which still occurs so long as a LIF is on e0a or e0b
