ONTAP: “disk.readReservationFailed” SCSI Error After Disk Replacement

Issue

After replacing disk  on node , the following error was logged once:

disk.readReservationFailed: Disk read reservation failed on 0c.16.9 CDB 0x5e:01 - SCSI: hardware error (44c91)
  • The error occurred shortly after the disk replacement completed.
  • No recurrence of the error was observed  on the same day.
  • System and disk are now operating normally.
